Venus makes an appearance

I spotted Venus in the west just after sunset. I took this photo from my lounge window. I’m hoping to use the Sky-Watcher Heritage 100p on a photography tripod to watch the phases, and hopefully get some photos. We’ve had a sparse winter for planets during the ‘observable hours’. I’m looking forward to a planetary summer.
